Well, how to start this...um...as you all know I’ve been away fro quite some time without a reason or any warning to you guys. Hopefully this journal will clear everything right up! Beware however, this will probably be a long one......

Reason #1 - So, I guess it was a few months before school was out that I disappeared from the face of dA. To be quite honest, the main reason that I left was a huge truckload full of school work was dumped unceremoniously on me. I quite literally did not draw a single thing during those last few months of school, they were insane. When I wasn't spending all my precious spare time getting together for group projects I was studying for this or that test or reviewing.

Reason #2 - I succeeded in getting the volunteering job that I’d so badly wanted for a long time - volunteering at my local Vet clinic. It was a big deal for me because I want to be a vet in the future. This took up all of my time on Tuesday nights

Reason #3 - I worked a lot at the new species that ~esimplenote and I are working on, I finished all of my half of the first clutch of Oliavi, but ran into a snag in the plan when esi informed me that she may possibly be leaving dA for good.

Reason #4 - I go to my cottage every single weekend in the summer, starting the weekend before the May long weekend.

Reason #5 - When the glorious days of summer finally hit, I had even less free time. My volunteering turned into a paying job for the fall, for which I train two days a week for 5 or 6 hours. In addition to my Thursday night riding lessons I started riding someone else's horse for them 2 or 3 times a week. (Obviously I’m not complaining about that!!! )

Reason #6 - I went to my cottage for three consecutive weeks, and just got back this Tuesday.

Reason #7- I'm just plain lazy.

So now, at last, it seems that I’ll be able to draw again and comment on all of the 1,017 deviations that you guys drew in that long span of time, as well as the 541 messages and 2 notes left for me. Ah, it’s good to be back.

Now, if I can only get used the new submission categories……lol
